ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS4

Because we here on Abduzeedo give you design Inspiration i'll show you some new features from Photoshop CS4. This is how it looks like. For the first time there will be two Photoshop versions (beside Photoshop Lightroom 2).

The first one is the real Photoshop, with some great new features for 699 $.
The second version will be the Photoshop Extended version and it will cost 999 $.

As Adobe sais, the extended version is a greater programm for people who work with film and video and also for motion graphics. You now have the possibility of Breakthrough 3D editing and compositing capabilities and improved video controls to dramatically expand your creative options. Also you now can live move (via drag and drop) the psd to Adobe After Effects.

But don't worry. The usualy Photoshop CS4 will also kick asses. It now has a better Adjustment panel which allow the user manage the very easy.
Also there is a new Mask panel. It allows you to quickly create and edit masks. This panel offers all the tools you need to create editable pixel- and vector-based masks, adjust mask density and feathering, easily select noncontiguous objects, and more.

And now comes my favourite new feature: It is called the Content Aware Scaling. Below you see two pictures. The first one is our picture we shot at the beach (picture 1). But we want to make it more wide. So the only way to do this is to transform it and scale it as wide as we like. But this will affect a lower quality of that picture.

The new Photshop makes this much more better. It automatically fills the spare parts with parts from inside that picture (picture 2) so that it looks like we made it more wide. Awesome right?

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR CS4

Of course there will also be a new Illustrator CS4 version, which will be sold for 599 $.

Illustrator created a new tool called the Blob Brush. Drawing with this brush will create a clean vector shape even when strokes overlap.

The greatest feature is the new artboard. You can now create a file with up 100 artboards independent, which sizes they have. Finished files can now be saved together. Preview:
