Bruno Fujii's 2008 Calendar
My last article I showed some of the coolest designs I saw in 2007. There were really amazing pieces of work in that list, from designers from all parts of the world and various styles. Among all of them there were 4 Brazilian designers, and one of them is called Bruno Fujii.
I got to the opportunity to talk to him and we sort of became friends. I really like his style mixing illustration with watercolor paints and vectors, I even wrote a tutorial trying to reproduce his style.
Anyway, you can check his website out at http://illustplosion.com/ to see how cool is his work and, as it is Christmas time he’s allowing me to put his 2008 Calendar to be downloaded here. Take a look at the images below and click on them to get the high resolution version.
And one more thing, he told me that he’s now working as a freelancer and that he is available for new projects.

Woah it's nice! I am a graphic designer, so I know how hard it is to pencil the illustrations! It's a great work with a very good effect!

Yup, I gotta agree, I can't download the 2nd image.
nice work but unfortunately there seems to be a problem. i cannot download nothing except January. this is the message that appears "The image “http://abduzeedo.com/files/u1/05MAY.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors." be back in a few day here, hope everything will be ok :))

You are right! Really nice work here... I also took a look at your work, and man, you ROCK! I love the PosterArt image with the mini. what kind of software do you use to vectorialize photos? I've been experimenting with Inkscape but still don't get good results.
