Great Illustration Inspiration

My passion for illustration just keeps getting bigger every time I run into some cool portfolio, or when I'm surfing on DeaviantArt. I mean, you gotta love these.

Linework, sweet shapes and colors, awesome ink texture, sense of depth, dimension, lighting, shading... man, I just wish I could draw stuff like these.

This dude is good. Really good.

nice art but you really should cite who the artists are and provide links back to their work. Otherwise you're just snaking someone else's work and putting it on your site; despite any good intentions.

love how the pictures have that dark n gritty feeling to them!
especially like how they changed Tweedle-Dee/Dum into a more evil-looking figure. also noticed that some of the pictures are from the movie Monster House...

it's nice to see illustrators keeping to the tradition

Its cool to see this illustrators perspective and reinterpretation of Alice in Wonderland. I dig it. I love the traditional media. I can only guess though at what the artist might be using to create the illustrations - watercolor and pencil. Great Find.
