Tucked away in a charming neighborhood near the center of Bruges, Onslow offers a departure from formal dining. Created by renowned chef Lieven Vynck, the concept is simple: great food, great drinks, and an atmosphere that invites you to be yourself. There are no fancy dress codes or rigid concepts—just a shared, fun experience where the food takes center stage.
A Visual Language Rooted in Character and Versatility
The visual identity, crafted by Davy Denduyver, is a subtle play on classic restaurant branding. Drawing inspiration from the laidback character of the same name, the design utilizes classic fonts with a modern, slightly tweaked approach. By mixing typography with a bold, organic logo and an instantly recognizable color palette, the identity achieves a perfect balance of nostalgia and contemporary flair.
The creative direction was focused on creating a robust visual language—one that can be reinterpreted across any format and used for years to come, while remaining unmistakably Onslow.
