Trusta Pizza: Photography by Bolden Branding
IN PIZZA WE TRUST | BRAND NEW How do you redesign a pizza brand with over three decades of history? For Trusta Pizza, a brand making friends and serving pizza since 1992, Bolden Branding crafted an editorial photography project that completely redefines the modern pizzeria identity.
At the heart of the new look is the "trustinha" symbol—two pizza slices joined together to form a mark of friendship. By deliberately avoiding the rigid, overused tropes of traditional Italian restaurants, Bolden Branding built an identity centered on human connection and beautiful imperfection. The studio embraces informal illustrations and a relaxed visual language that pays homage to the brand's 1992 roots. Instead of focusing on formal dining, the identity prioritizes lightness, intimacy, and the shared ritual of a great meal.
Finding warmth in editorial photography
The project's visual assets beautifully pair hand-drawn illustrations with raw, unpolished imagery. In one frame, a table scattered with fresh ingredients and vibrant food grounds the brand in a tangible, domestic reality.
Every element of the editorial photography supports a narrative of absolute authenticity.
The innovative packaging design features playful cartoon elements and dynamic drawings that interact directly with bottles and paper assets. This clever layout encourages an ongoing dialogue between the consumer and the brand. Ultimately, this approach to editorial photography captures the true movement and textures of a shared meal, using the "trustinha" icon to anchor Trusta Pizza's social mission.
