Unbloated: Dark-Theme Wellness App Design by Farba Digital
Unbloated is a wellness app design by Farba Digital: near-black purple, a round 3D mascot, and a GPT-4 gut coach that turns health tracking into therapy.
The interface opens on a near-black purple (#0D0B14) that has nothing in common with the clinical grays and hospital whites dominating health-tech. Farba Digital built this wellness app design around a single deliberate tension: a medical subject given the visual language of a late-night companion app. A round, fuzzy pink mascot carries emotional weight across every state — sad on bad days, trophy in hand on good ones. Lavender-purple pill buttons and rounded sans-serif type keep the dark UI from feeling cold.
How Dark-Theme Wellness App Design Reframes the Gut Health UX Problem
The AI Gut Coach screen is where the wellness app design pays off most directly. GPT-4 answers questions through a chat interface styled like a nutritionist conversation — mascot avatar, circular Day 3-of-7 progress ring, plain language — not a clinical data readout. The onboarding questionnaire uses eleven dark pill-shaped cards with purple checkboxes, a format that reads more like a Spotify preferences survey than a hospital intake form. Progress tracking keeps to a minimal purple line chart on near-black, with weekly dots marking completed days and a bloating severity graph spanning February through July 2025. This is what a wellness app design for gut health looks like when emotional safety is the brief.
